RESOLUTION - Modernising and universalising the fight against antisemitism

Preamble:
The fight against antisemitism must be modernised and universalised, no longer relying solely on memory and commemoration, but mobilising all key actors: legislative, governmental, and civil society, to confront its contemporary forms.
EUJS notes that:
- Memory alone is no longer sufficient, and is even being weaponised today against Jewish communities.
- Across Europe - in Italy, Germany, France and beyond - official remembrance often masks a disengagement from the actual struggle against rising antisemitism.
- Anti-Zionism has become a key vector of today's antisemitism, rendering many current frameworks of memory and education ineffective or derealised.
EUJS believes that:
- The fight against antisemitism must address its modern expressions, including hate on campus, online hate, conspiracism, and attacks targeting Jewish identity through the demonisation of Israel.
- It requires the coordinated engagement of all actors: politics, universities, and anti-racist associations.
- The fight against antisemitism cannot be siloed - it must be integrated into the broader struggle against all forms of racism and hate, in the name of a universal and indivisible anti-racist commitment.
EUJS resolves to:
- Advocate for strategic conversations with key decision-makers and stakeholders who hold access to essential political, institutional and financial resources.
- Unite all available forces to build a modern, proactive, and inclusive coalition against antisemitism and racism in all their forms.
