We call for Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI), roughly translated as “The Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right,” to be placed on terrorist lists. The previously unknown group appeared in March 2026 and claimed responsibility for attacks across Europe, including in Liège, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and London. It subsequently announced what it described as military operations against US and Israeli interests worldwide and warned individuals in the European Union to distance themselves from such targets. Although information remains limited, security analysts believe the group may be linked to Iran’s wider network of proxy organisations. We are concerned about the threat these activities pose to Jewish communities and call for further action to counter terrorist intimidation and violence.
