EUJS President Jane Braden-Golay part of RAN working group on preventing radicalisation

EUJS President Jane Braden-Golay joined practitioners, experts and policy makers from across the EU for a two-day intensive working meeting in Barcelona, Spain, July 25th-26th. The aim of the meeting was to develop the program for a conference on the role of education in preventing radicalisation to be held in early 2015, within the framework of the European Commission’s Radicalisation Awareness Network.

“Particularly in light of the recent terror attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels, EUJS is more dedicated than ever to contributing to prevention of violent extremism. Education plays a key role in this, and we hope to contribute through our longstanding experience in peer-training and anti-discrimination work.”, Jane remarked.
