EUJS Delegation active at the OSCE Conference on Antisemitism in Berlin

EUJS President Jane Braden-Golay, Vice-President David Gergely, Director Jonathan Keyson and delegates from national Jewish student unions participated in the 10th Anniversary of the OSCE Conference on Antisemitism in Berlin, actively participating in the discussions and shaping the Civil Society recommendations on how to combat anti-Semitism in the OSCE region.
EUJS President Jane Braden-Golay spoke on both the opening panel of the NGO Forum, and on the closing panel of the high-level conference, elaborating on the recommendations that civil society had formulated for OSCE Member States. Davie Gergely, Hungary, and French Union of Jewish Students president Sacha Reingewirtz, both presented in working groups, focused on rising nationalism and anti-Semitism online, respectively.
You can read the Civil Society recommendations here.
For EUJS it is fundamental that young Jews have access to and are included in all areas of advocacy, and we welcome the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship’s special focus on youth participation. EUJS was also a part of the civil society steering committee that prepared the NGO Forum at the Conference.
