The EUJS Union Guide

This guide explores the role of Jewish student and youth unions within EUJS and why strong national unions are essential to representing young Jewish voices across Europe. As the elected representatives of their countries and communities, unions play a fundamental role in shaping EUJS, from voting on motions and policies at the General Assembly to electing its leadership and helping define what European Jewish youth looks like today.

The guide also looks at why establishing and developing a union matters at the local level: creating spaces for young Jews to connect, build lasting relationships, explore their Jewish identity, and make their voices heard within their communities and beyond. Through activism, campaigns, seminars, training, and collaboration with unions across Europe, young Jewish leaders can strengthen their own communities while contributing to the future of European Jewish life.
