This year, EUJS hosted the 7th edition of the EU Activism Seminar for the first time after the pandemic. The seminar lasted 5 days and gathered 17 participants from 11 different countries across Europe and beyond, to engage in meetings and discussions with Members of the European Parliament, NGOs, and policymakers that operate within the world of European affairs.

Through the EU Activism Seminar, we raised awareness about the functioning of the European Union, its key institutions, and its legislative processes. We provided knowledge and expertise about relevant EU policy work, from fundamental rights and the fight against antisemitism to environmental policies and EU external relations. Lastly, we empowered Jewish student leaders to advocate effectively against antisemitism and for the promotion of positive Jewish narratives, in line with EUJS’ mission to strengthen the European society and Jewish communities through Jewish student activism.
