EUJS, in cooperation with Ahlan Europe, organised the first-ever MENA seminar in Thessaloniki, Greece, from May 9th to 12th, 2024, which addressed the underrepresentation and unique challenges faced by European Jewish students of Middle Eastern and North African heritage.

The conference was a great opportunity to foster collaboration, empowerment, and awareness among MENA-Jewish students and young professionals in Europe, celebrating the diversity of Sephardi and Mizrahi Jewish experiences. The conference was also supported by our Embracing Jewish Diversity grant programme.
