The Union of Jewish Students (UJS) represents the voice of 9,000 Jewish students across more than 75 Jewish Societies (JSocs) on campuses throughout the UK and Ireland. Its members are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; they span the religious and political spectrum, coming from the left, centre, and right.
Guided by its core values, the priorities of the elected President, and policy passed at the UJS Conference, the Union creates and delivers impactful campaigns — fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to Jewish students.
Locally, nationally and internationally, UJS runs diverse and dynamic programmes; ensures access to kosher food and accommodation; and actively engages in Israel education, interfaith dialogue, and social action.
For over a century, UJS has led, defended, and enriched Jewish student life across the UK and Ireland, proudly serving as the voice of Jewish students.
