Founded in 1944, the Union of French Jewish Students (UEJF) is a national organization representing Jewish students throughout France. Both cultural and activist in nature, UEJF is dedicated to combating antisemitism, racism, and all forms of discrimination, while fostering dialogue, education, and civic participation.
With 30 local chapters across major universities and student cities, UEJF hosts debates, cultural initiatives, memorial trips (such as visits to Auschwitz) and educational campaigns.
With there training programs composed from the autumn and winter universities and summer universities in Israel.
It also collaborates closely with the media, public institutions, and other student unions to advance tolerance and democratic principles.
UEJF plays a central role in intercultural dialogue, Holocaust education and remembrance, as well as the defense of human rights. It affirms Israel’s right to live in peace and security, while promoting open and critical discussions on Middle Eastern affairs.
Deeply rooted in the French republican tradition, UEJF encourages student engagement in shaping society and defending universal values. Through activism, solidarity, and a strong commitment to both Jewish identity and democratic ideals, it continues to empower new generations.
