The Slovak Union of Jewish Youth (SÚŽM) is the representative body for Jewish young adults in Slovakia. Our mission is to support Jewish identity, build community, and provide a space for young Jews to connect, learn, and grow together, both locally and internationally.

The union traces its roots back to 1990, when it was founded as the Czechoslovak Union of Jewish Youth. Following the peaceful split of Czechoslovakia, the organisation naturally evolved into two independent bodies - the Czech Union of Jewish Youth and the Slovak Union of Jewish Youth -each continuing the mission of engaging and empowering Jewish youth in their respective countries.

As a member of EUJS, we are proud to be part of a wider European and global network of Jewish youth. We believe in the importance of preserving Jewish heritage while also creating meaningful and relevant experiences for the next generation.

SÚŽM welcomes young Jews of all backgrounds and levels of observance. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, vibrant, and forward-looking community rooted in shared history, culture, and values.
