The Dutch Union of Jewish Students (IJAR/DUJS) is the national umbrella organisation representing Jewish students across the Netherlands. Founded in 1976, DUJS plays a central role in uniting Jewish student communities, safeguarding Jewish life on campus, and empowering future leaders.

As the longest-standing Jewish youth association in the country, DUJS operates at the intersection of education, identity, and advocacy. Their work spans community-building initiatives, national and international partnerships, interfaith dialogue, political representation, and cultural programming.

They believe that investing in Jewish student life is an investment in the future of Dutch society. Their programmes cultivate civic engagement, leadership skills, cultural continuity, and cross-cultural understanding, building stronger communities both within and beyond the Jewish world.

From universities in Amsterdam to campuses in Maastricht, DUJS connects, protects, and elevates Jewish student life throughout the Netherlands.
