The European Union of Jewish Students Ambassadors meet with United Nations Ambassadors

Over the past two days the European Union of Jewish Students Ambassadors to the United Nations Human Rights Council, have met with permanent representatives from the French, Brazilian, Indian, Israeli, Nigerian and Mexican missions to the United Nations in Geneva.

The European Union of Jewish Students ambassadors raised a number of issues that are key for Jewish Students across Europe including that of the necessity for effective reform within the United Nations Human Rights Council, as well as the global responsibility of all nations to effectively deal with the rising tide of AntiSemitism. European Union of Jewish Students President Benjamin Zagzag noted that each meeting “played host to a frank and open discussion on all issues, with all ambassadors being open and receptive to a challenging discussion”.

The European Union of Jewish Students is extremely pleased with the success of the meetings, and is confident in the ability of its Student Ambassadors to the United Nations to follow up and continue pressuring all diplomatic missions on issues that are core to Jewish Student life across Europe.
