EUJS SUMMER U IS BACK AGAIN! THIS YEAR IT WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN AUGUST 22nd – 29th IN LISBON, PORTUGAL!
SUMMER U is providing the best that summer has to offer by embodying positive Jewish identities and celebrating diversity at all times: during the workshops, the panels, the legendary parties, while networking, in the pool or by challenging others at sports. Come to laugh, meet, learn, sweat, sing, dance, run and let loose together with old and new friends from across the globe!
Summer U has brought together young Jewish students and professionals (18-30 years old) from all over Europe and beyond, every year since 1984. In the year 2020, for the first time, we had to cancel Summer U due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Last year we thought long and hard whether conducting such an event in person would be possible, but after careful consideration and many discussions with various stakeholders, Summer U was organized – with huge success!
This year we want to prove that Summer U is back for good and full of life! So grab your friends, register, book your flights and start packing! Get ready for some intense fun … we’re going to PORTUGAL! During Summer U, every day is a day to remember!

The price includes accommodation for the event week (22nd to 29th of August), food & program (eg. workshops, panels, lectures, sports, pool time, gala dinner, day trip & much more). Flights are not included, but there will be shuttle buses organized from the airport (Lisbon) to the venue. The EUJS’ Summer U team is working hard at the moment to build an interesting and versatile schedule and program for the event.
