EU Activism Seminar 2019
Event type: Seminar
Organized by: European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS)
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Join us in Brussels for a chance to hear from world-renowned experts, learn from influential global activists, and discuss critical issues with key decision-makers in the EU and within other Brussels-based institutions. Topics covered will include the upcoming EU Elections, Antisemitism in Europe, EU-Israel relations, and other important issues of concern for our community.
For the first time, the seminar also brings a unique partnership with the OSCE/ODIHR and its "Words Into Action to Address Anti-Semitism" project. Two days of the seminar will thus be a training run together with our partners at OSCE/ODIHR.
As one of the few opportunities available for youth to meet with and speak to European decision-makers, The EU Activism Seminar provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring young voices to the table for real impact!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
EUJS is looking for outstanding applicants who wish to gain meaningful advocacy and community building experience. We will ensure gender and geographical balance among participants. This 5-day seminar will provide deep insights into the inner-workings of European Institutions, unprecedented access to high-level diplomats, and off-the-record briefings on critical issues facing our community.
The seminar will take place in Brussels from the 17th - 21st of February 2019.
Contribution from participants, covering non-OSCE/ODIHR related expenses:
100 € for students
150 € for young professionals
