Summer University

Summer University is a unique event gathering 500 Jewish students and young adults from 18-35 years old, coming from all over Europe and the world. It offers amazing and educational workshops and wild night life.

26 years ago EUJS decided to create an event that would bring a group of vibrant, smart, interesting people together from across the European continent and the world. With each year, Summer U has only gotten bigger and bigger!

Summer U 2009 will take place in the breathtaking Graubunden region of Switzerland between the 23^rd and 30^th of August and will feature:

• An unforgettable atmosphere with 500 young Jews from all over Europe and the world
• A variety of sporting activities, including wind-surfing, rowing, and more!
• Great workshops everyday (salsa dancing, belly dancing, discovering Switzerland, and more!)
• High-profile speakers from all over the world
• The first annual Summer U Summit
• An amazing and unique Swiss panorama
• The traditional, lively, family-style Summer U shabbat and tish
• …and of course, the famous Summer U PARTIES EVERY NIGHT, ALL NIGHT!

At Summer U 2009, you are guaranteed to make new friends in a wonderful, relaxed vacation environment. Summer University is about sharing new ideas, views and dreams. It is about discovering yourself, having a lot of fun, connecting with your community and experiencing a vibrant, energetic and engaging Jewish life, and this year will be no different!
