organized by SKIJAR
23 January 2010
Alpe D'Huez
Skijar has a long history. Since 1997 we have visited Serre Chevalier, Les deux Alpes and Les Arcs and every year the group of young Jewish people between the ages of 18 and 35 has grown.
Since 2002 Skijar has grown to become a trip with an international character. In 2006 there were 62 participants from 12 different countries and in 2007 Skijar grew to, what was at that point, the biggest Jewish skiing trip in Europe with 77 participants from 15 different countries. This was surpassed in 2008 when we had a total of 85 participants from 15 countries on 4 different continents.
From the 23th to the 30st of January we will be skiing and partying with a huge group of young Jewish people between the ages of 18 and 35. This year we will be going to Alpe D’Huez , an area with 220 km of slopes.
