EUJS is proud to invite you to a selective, in-depth Shoah seminar at the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem. Join Jewish student leaders, activists and informal educators for a seminar with leading experts and educators and discover new perspectives on the Shoah and discuss their impact on our communities today.


The program is a joint seminar by EUJS and the Yad Vashem International School of Holocaust Studies. The seminar will take place in Jerusalem from December 18th to 25th 2016. Yad Vashem's distinguished staff and guest lecturers will engage with you on topics that are relevant to you as young European Jewish leaders.
Sessions will focus mostly on the following topics:
- Holocaust remembrance in an era of antisemitism resurgence
- Jewish Identity under crisis? The Holocaust and Jewish thought
- Jewish Leadership in the Holocaust : Complexity and dilemmas



You will have the opportunity to learn from and discuss with the leading experts in the field and discover the different facets of Yad Vashem: The historical museum, the International School for Holocaust Studies and the learning center as well as the city of Jerusalem itself.



Costs: The seminar is FREE (all you need to do is pay for the flight to and from Israel).
Your hotel, your meals and a tour of Jerusalem are generously covered by Yad Vashem and their supporters!
